If this kid was in Australia he'd probably be taken away from her on the grounds of abuse - not providing proper medical attention. It's not 'his physical make-up' - the specialists agree that there's no underlying 'cause' (except possible steroid abuse when he was very young), so it seems to me that it's just his Mother cashing in on a convenient situation that she refuses to acknowledge as harmful. I wonder how much sympathy and support she'll expect when this child dies of a heart attack in a few years time? How can a mother be so stupid.
